Anchor of hope was started from another ministry called Community Partnership.  Upon discovering that the community of Fruitland Park FL. has over 100 homeless children we  created Anchor of Hope. The vision of Anchor of Hope, is to acquire land and provide housing for qualified homeless families. The program’s focus will be to provide this housing to qualified adults who are actively working, looking for work, or obtaining work training. Additionally, the program will offer life skill classes and require participants to volunteer, pay minimum rent and meet other rehabilitative requirements.  Anchor of Hope, is not a ‘Give a man a fish’ concept, but rather ‘TEACH a man to fish’.

 

In order for this vision to become a reality, volunteers, financial contributions, and donations of goods will be needed. This is where you could play an important role!
